The Office of Government Relations is the lobbying function on the state and federal level for the entire ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ of Missouri ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ including its four campuses, MU Extension and MU Health Care. Each year, the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ sets its legislative priorities focused on funding its core and building for the future. Supporting these priorities will help the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ carry out its mission and provide a significant return on investment for the state of Missouri.

In February 2022, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ leaders announced the results of an that found UM ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and its four universities have a $6.5 billion economic impact on the state of Missouri. The study was conducted by Tripp Umbach, a nationally recognized firm that has completed more than 500 economic impact studies for clients across the globe.
