The ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ of Missouri Technology Park at Fort Leonard Wood is the first technology park in the nation to be located on an active Army post. The 62-acre park was developed by the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ of Missouri and the Missouri Department of Economic Development with the backing of Fort Leonard Wood. The park encourages technology transfer from the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ of Missouri and is a major boost to the regional economy, providing job opportunities to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ students and alumni, local residents and military spouses.
